Your responsibilities:
As Junior Cloud Apps Admin you will take a series of thorough professional trainings from vendors as well as internal trainings to understand the tools and methodologies used to maintain, monitor and troubleshoot our state-of-the-art cloud systems such as Workday ERP, AODocs, Tibco Cloud Integration. You will be responsible for monitoring, 2nd and sometimes 3rd level troubleshooting and maintaining configuration of the systems, their integrations (means of connecting with other systems), with constant support from senior colleagues. You will also be responsible for documenting incidents, analysing and resolving tickets raised by internal customers. On a daily basis you will ensure that critical processes are up and running flawlessly to ensure business continuity. In the long-term perspective the role will allow you to grow your skills to develop cloud application scripts and integrations you will be supporting at the beginning of your career.
Your qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of work experience and/or strong academic background (Computer Science or similar faculty graduate)
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Strong self-organisation skills
- Proven experience (~1 year) in understanding communication formats e.g. XML, JSON
- Understanding of SOA architecture and components e.g. SOAP and/or REST based Web Services, Security
- Understanding of 2nd and 3rd level support concept
- Understanding of “the Cloud” and related concepts
- Analytical thinking
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Ability to travel from time to time (team building), once the pandemic is over
Nice to have:
- Experience in Workday Integrations
- Experience in working with corporate ERP solutions (Workday, SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft etc.)
- Experience in working with any ESB, IaaS platforms
- Experience in writing executable scripts in any preferred programming language
- Experience in 2nd and 3rd level support
- Understanding of HCM and Financial processes
- Communicative German language
