Brasidas Group AG seeks an: IT support specialist joining our Team in Belgrade
Brasidas wants a passionate and energetic IT support specialist to join our fast-paced team. At the moment we are going through a process of rebuilding our IT infrastructure to strengthen the security of our customer’s data, which is of utmost importance for our business. We want to offer the highest standards in terms of privacy and security.
A bit about you
You are passionate about IT and want to keep learning and stay motivated. You are a bit of a “hacker”, can write your own little scripts and have an interest in security and cloud infrastructures.
Skills
Must have
- Senior level experience with managing a Microsoft ecosystem (Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, OWA, file servers, virtualized Windows desktop environment, Remote Desktop, Microsoft Office, collaboration tools) - including but not limited to best practices on security and operations, patching, upgrading, backing up data, supporting end user issues with collaboration tools and remote access
- Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP) and able to troubleshoot networking issues with appropriate tools
- Comfortable with Linux - at least for patching and upgrading
- Strong English language skills, both written and oral - some team members are located in the US
- Able to work flexible hours, since some work must be done in the evening (US time zone) and sometimes on weekends
- Desire to keep learning, self-improving, taking initiative and being proactive
- Able to work without constant supervision, taking ownership of issues and bringing them to completion
- Able to work as a team with other IT support and vendors, as needed
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, previous exposure to a startup culture
Nice to have
- Some programming background (preferably Python)
- Experience managing firewalls and other network and email security devices
- Some knowledge of IT security concepts
- Some cloud experience (AWS preferred)
