IT BSA Sales

Essential Functions/Duties

The primary focus of the IT Sales BSA position in Essex Furukawa is to develop and maintain the European information system covering the Sales, including, but not limited to ERP and EDI systems.

Main duties:

· Lead and support the Sales initiatives in the IT area;
· Maintain and develop the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system as a central IT system, and integrity of the related data, and transaction;
· Maintain and develop the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system;
· Continual improvement of the Sales IT system and business processes, using the best IT practices;
· Key contact of the business users in the Sales departments;
· Work with cross-functional teams in prioritization of the IT activities according to the business needs;
· Lead / take part in geographically diverse teams at the European level;
· Collect and analyze business requirements, and project them into effective IT solutions;
· Develop project plans and manage projects;
· Monitor project performances and deliverables, and ensure timely completion of the projects;
· Proactively provide status on activities to the appropriate stakeholders;
· Develop and execute functional unit test cases;
· Build training documentation and deliver training to the end-users;
· Support application deployment in the production and provide post-production support;
· Analyze data, processes, and IT systems to identify/troubleshoot the problems and recommend improvements;

Education:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Business/ Computer Science/ Information System or other related field preferred
· Master’s Degree would be a plus

Professional experience and skills:

· 1 to 3 years of experience in supporting the ERP systems (focused on Sales) and/or the EDI systems;
· Project management;
· Excellent communication skills;
· Ability to work in a multicultural environment;
· Self-motivated;
· English - Fluent written and spoken is required;

Computer Equipment and Software Requirements:

·  Good knowledge of MS Office Package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
·  Good knowledge of Windows
