Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic IT Administrator to support our Belgrade office.
A self-motivated individual who takes ownership of tasks and operations in cooperation with the IT Manager. Assisting internal teams locally and remote while also being part of the continual improvement of the IT programme across the company in projects.
Key Responsibilities
Operational
- User Management, laptop setup, reimage in local office.
- Asset management, tagging and tracking IT assets in local office.
- User support administration, repairs, fixes and problems with IT equipment.
- User security and policy compliance.
- Support network and wireless connectivity for users, printers and other equipment.
- Support for internal and client projects.
Network Deployments and Maintenance
- Remote management of servers and virtualized environments.
- Deployments of VMs and allocation of resources.
- Firewall and network management.
License and certificate management
- Manage software and service licenses.
IT security and Infrastructure monitoring
- Monitoring of user behaviour, network and infrastructure.
- Follow-up with non-compliance of users and assets.
- Investigate possible IT security alerts or escalate to IS Manager.
- Educate users in response to event follow-ups, to non-compliance events.
- Follow-up with anti-virus incidents reported by the Microsoft Defender platform.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of experience as an IT Administrator in a tech company.
Experience:
- Deskside support, laptop repairs and maintenance. Network management.
- Background in supporting the Microsoft Azure/Office365 platform.
- IT security monitoring exposure advantageous.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good knowledge of IT infrastructure, Windows and Linux platforms.
- Virtualization environment knowledge - Hyper-V, VMware and Proxmox.
- Strong network troubleshooting and analysis skills.
- Hands on experience configuring and maintaining switches, routers, firewalls.
- AzureAD, Entra, EndPoint Manager/Intune management.
- Coding languages like Python and PowerShell advantageous.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes advantageous.
