Introduction
Intermed Solutions operates as a subcontractor of MAK-SYSTEM, a Software Development firm that is a leading provider of state-of-the-art Mission Critical Healthcare software solutions.
Intermed Solutions is recruiting the Head of Infrastructure which will have responsibility for our IT infrastructure to meet our business needs and required SLAs.
We are at a stage in our IT development where we are moving into new technologies and bringing our existing estate in to a new environment. This is a role with a focus on cloud technologies, servers, storage, virtualization, software, peripherals and network (LAN, WAN, VPN). We are looking for an operational leader with similar experience that will bring and maintain our infrastructure up-todate and in compliance with the relevant standards.

- Firewalls policy configuration, VPN across locations, LAN, WAN
- Active Directory

- MS Dynamics, RedMine, NetSuite, Salesforce, Jira, Hubspot, Intland
- Cloud experience is a plus: AWS, Azure.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the IT function to ensure IT needs are met across the company
- Effectively manage the implementation of new/update of IT systems
- Management of IT procurement, supplier contracts and budgets
- Take overall responsibility for IT risk management
- Ensure that company has in place suitable IT and data frameworks, policies and procedures, including in the areas of data governance, data protection (incl. GDPR compliance), business continuity and information security
- Managing internal and external resources, skills level, setting targets, metrics and delegating tasks.
Key competencies and skills
- Senior Infrastructure Engineering background, ideally with some leadership experience
- Solid background in similar role and technologies
- Able to take initiative and suggest improvements
- Ideally a good understanding or experience in Cybersecurity
- Fluent English (writing and speaking).
