Your responsibilities will include:
Professional Tasks

IT Infrastructure Architecture and roadmap ownership

• Responsible for IT Infrastructure Architecture of STADA Group Data Centers (on premise and in Public Cloud)
• Responsible for creating guidelines for IT Infrastructure and Public Cloud implementation and operations and management
• Owning the IT Infrastructure technology roadmap
• Having overview of the gaps in IT Infrastructure domains and plan for remediation activities within the roadmap
• Designing highly available integrated solutions that is scalable and supportable, with optimal cost and high performance

Representing IT Infrastructure in projects and daily work

• Collaborating with IT Infrastructure teams in global STADA markets
• Acting as single point of contact within STADA regarding IT Infrastructure and Cloud Architecture
• Provide best practices support leveraging cloud IaaS/PaaS services and traditional Data Center services
• Representing IT Infrastructure in Projects and business as usual activities related to new system implementation, system review and upgrade, mergers and acquisitions, information security, internal and external audits
• Responsible for IT Infrastructure life cycle management and optimization

Driving improvements and innovation

• Establishing and managing the community of practice with other relevant team representatives and architects
• Tracking market trends and recommending innovative and cost effective solutions
• Responsible for new technology evaluation and proposing improvements
• Proactively addressing structural improvement opportunities in IT Infrastructure
• Acting as technical lead in smaller IT Infrastructure initiatives
• Define and approve technical solutions and performance goals according to functional requirements from stakeholders

Participation in vendor selection processes

• Creating RfP for selected initiatives and projects and providing technical recommendations and vendor selection support
• Maintaining relationship with key vendors in the company’s IT Infrastructure portfolio
• Ensuring involvement of external team such as Security, Sourcing, Legal in RfP process

Presentation, reporting and financial inputs

• Creating reports and presentations related to the area of responsibility
• Being able to present in a clear and understandable way to different stakeholders
• Creating business case for the proposed IT Infrastructure improvement initiatives
• Providing financial information for the annual budget; identify cost reductions / optimizations

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline with an information technology focus, or relevant experience within the industry
• Minimum five years of experience in IT Infrastructure, including architecture roles and major project deliveries in corporate ecosystems
• Experience in creating guidelines, procedures and architecture designs
• Experience from private and public cloud implementation projects, especially Office 365, AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Experience from IT (minimum three) Infrastructure domains like Cloud technologies including Cloud Infrastructure Automation, Servers, Operating systems, Storages, Enterprise back/up solutions, Databases, Virtualization technologies including Containers
• Experience in project management is desirable
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) experience
• High degree of flexibility and ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization with diverse backgrounds
• Good skills in reporting and follow-up
• Presentation skills and communication to senior stakeholders, ability to balance the long-term "big picture" and short-term implications of decisions
• Very good strategic, solution and cost-oriented thinking
• Analytical in approach to problem solving with a focus on managing in a team environment with attention to results and with a sense of urgency
• Strong desire to drive change, and ability to adapt to change quickly. Strong consulting skills (relevant/technical); recognized as a thought leader within the company
• Relevant industry certifications are highly desirable
• Fluent language skills English (additionally German is an advantage)
