Job Overview
Wargaming is looking for а Game Logic Developer (Core Gameplay) to work on World of Warships in our brand-new Belgrade office.
World of Warships is the best naval game around, letting you take the command of legendary warships from the period of the 20th century as you battle your way across the open sea with other players.
The project is driven by a team of international developers who combine talent with their passion for video games, resulting in World of Warships being a favorite hobby for millions all around the globe with keeping its community ever-growing!
What will you do?
- Create new gameplay mechanics (weapons, game modes, events, matchmaking, etc.)
- Collaborate with game designers, UI developers, sound designers in creating AAA user experience
- Develop and improve gameplay logic code base in Core gameplay
What are we looking for?
- At least 3 years of experience in commercial development
- Good knowledge of Python
- Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Basic understanding of OOP
- Ability to understand other people's code
- Desire to work in the gaming industry
- English – B2 and higher
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Basic knowledge of С/С++
- Knowledge of Math’s
- Experience with game engines
