What we are looking for:

We are looking for a skilled Game Developer to join our team and help bring our game to life.
The ideal candidate will have experience with the Godot Engine, understanding of game programming patterns, and a passion for crafting engaging, strategic gameplay experiences.

What will you do:

• Design, develop, test, review, document, and debug game software that meets quality, regulatory, and jurisdictional requirements.
• Integrate art and sound assets, creating an immersive gameplay experience.
• Implement user interface elements and game logic using the Godot Engine.
• Assist in integrating art assets, including animations and visual effects.
• Optimize game performance across multiple platforms.
• Develop and maintain documentation to support the game development process and testing.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team (art, math, game design, etc.) for game development and defect fixing.
• Participate in testing phases to refine gameplay and fix bugs.
• Provide analysis and feedback for software issues as requested.
• Contribute to game development project planning.
• Develop and implement game mechanics as outlined in the Game Design Document.

Must have:

• Proficiency in modern programming languages and Object-Oriented Programming principles, preferable C#.
• Experience with version control systems, build tools, and processes.
• Ability to collaborate closely with the team.
• Oral/written English skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with GDScript, Godot  or other game engines
• Background in 2D game development, preferably with one shipped title.
• Experience with agile software development processes
• Understanding of game development fundamentals and design principles.
• Experience with procedural generation techniques.
• Background in computer science or game design.
