Role overview
Generally, we are looking for candidates who are interested in the crypto space. We are looking for full-time only. Expect a highly dynamic environment aiming to outperform our fierce competition.
You’ll be working on our WingRiders project. WingRiders is a top contender to be the best DEX on Cardano. We recently released a live Testnet version. As a battle seasoned team, with years of experience powered by Vacuumlabs, we are always looking for top-tier developers.
DEX is a platform to exchange tokens on the blockchain without a central entity. There are already DEXes on other blockchains, but Cardano has only recently released support for smart contracts.
This brings a unique opportunity for us to be one of the major players on Cardano. The smart contracts are written in Haskell. They define the constraints and conditions under which actors can interact with the exchange. For the off-chain tooling and frontend, we are using Node.js services and React. Some unique challenges include keeping close attention to the security and scalability of the DEX to allow a large number of concurrent swaps within the constraints of the Cardano blockchain.
Do you want to work with smart contracts and crypto?
And are you a functional programming enthusiast?
You will work on a library that provides the core business logic for the DEX. The library serves as a glue between the backend and multiple frontends for the DEX. It is also used by some of the backend services that interact with the blockchain. Apart from the library, the work would also include integrating with multiple wallets. Depending on your skill level, this can be a senior position that will include leading junior developers and providing them with constructive feedback. Our demanding recruitment process is in place to ensure you can work with the most efficient and high-quality team.
