The Role
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our AI/ML team and contribute to the development of NSage.ai. You will design, implement, and scale modern web applications that combine React, Node.js, and Python into a seamless, high-performance platform. However exceptional candidates with other frameworks are also encouraged to apply.
This role involves working at the intersection of advanced AI technologies and modern web development, helping to bring real-time, AI-driven insights to life for investment managers and analysts. Exceptional candidates with expertise in other comparable frameworks are also encouraged to apply.
Required Skills & Experience (4+ Years)
Core Requirements
• Frontend Development: Proficiency in React (JavaScript/TypeScript), CSS, and HTML for creating dynamic and responsive interfaces.
• Backend Development: Experience with Node.js and frameworks like NestJS or Hapi.js for building scalable APIs and backend services.
• Python Frameworks: Experience with frameworks like FastAPI or Django for AI/ML integration.
• API Design: Strong understanding of RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, including their design, implementation, and optimization.
• Database Management: Practical knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git and experience working in collaborative, Agile environments.
• Debugging & Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug issues across the full stack.
• Continuous Learning: A growth mindset and adaptability to emerging web technologies and frameworks.
Advanced Skills (Preferred)
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS or GCP and experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments.
• Real-Time Systems: Knowledge of building real-time applications using technologies like WebSockets, Socket.IO, or similar tools.
• Performance Optimization: Experience optimizing complex web applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.
• Containerization and Orchestration: Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes for managing microservices and deployments.
• Data Security: Understanding of modern authentication protocols such as OAuth and JWT, and best practices for safeguarding sensitive data.
Expert Level (Ideal)
• MLOps Integration: Experience collaborating with ML teams to deploy AI models in production, including workflows like model versioning, monitoring, and retraining.
• Distributed Systems: Familiarity with distributed architectures, message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), and event-driven systems.
• Infrastructure as Code: Hands-on experience with tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for automating infrastructure setup.
• Data Science Knowledge: Basic understanding of AI/ML pipelines, including preprocessing, feature engineering, and inference pipelines (not mandatory).
