Frontend Engineer - Event Inc Team

Our partner Event Inc with headquarters in Hamburg is Europe’s largest platform for booking event locations for corporate events of all kinds. Event Inc built up the leading marketplace for event locations in the german-speaking area and pushed the digitalisation within the MICE industry. The goal is to establish the platform internationally as the first address for booking corporate events, and the mission is to offer the best, fastest and most transparent event planning - through service, excellence and technology.

Together with our partner, we are forming a new team and we are looking for a: Frontend Engineer

who will be fully integrated with Event Inc’s team of experienced engineers and develop web applications using modern technologies and methodologies, sharing the excitement to drive further success of the market-leading product.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop, shape and maintain applications in a test-driven manner within an agile environment
• Create and improve reusable components in React based frontend stack
• Responsible for structure, maintainability and quality of applications
• You have web performance in mind and drive this topic through tooling and consultancy
• Proactively follow processes and best practices collectively adopted by the team
• Write self-documenting, well-readable code and instrument it with test
• Work closely together with a team of developers, product managers and UX designers
• Together with your team, decide on all technical and design challenges and lay the foundation to scale the business

Your profile:

• Experience with React.js (or another modern FE framework and are willing to learn React.js
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and ES6
• Experience with Next.js and GraphQL is a plus
• Goal-oriented and like to take an active part in product design and development
• You can work independently and you learn fast, continuously and eagerly
• Great English (written and oral) and communication skills
