About the role

Roboten is seeking a highly skilled frontend developer with a passion for technology and a strong eye for user experience, user interface design, and animation. As a member of our team, you will be part of building a low-code platform that adheres to industry standards and best practices in design, code, compliance, and all other aspects of development. Our platform outputs native code with high performance and beautifully formatted code in real-time for end-users. To be successful in this role, you need to have a passion for frontend development and a deep understanding of all web development frameworks, their strengths, and weaknesses, and why to use one over the other. You also need to have a strong passion for behavior libraries, style systems, and CSS systems and know them inside and out.

At Roboten, we are all about performance, so using tools like PageSpeed Insights and Lighthouse on a daily basis is a must.

As a frontend developer at Roboten, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of developers to build world-class user experiences for our products. Your missions

• Innovate and push the boundaries of the software development industry by creating cutting-edge products
• Collaborate with the team to design and develop intuitive and visually appealing front-ends that provide a seamless user experience
• Utilize CSS libraries and animation techniques to bring dynamic and engaging visual elements to the product
• Maintain a high standard of design and strive for excellence in every aspect of the user interface
• Continuously learn and grow as a developer by staying up-to-date on the latest frontend technologies and best practices.

To be successful in this role, you have

• 3+ years of professional experience as a frontend developer
• A strong sense of design and an eye for creating intuitive and visually appealing UX
• Proficiency in using CSS and animation libraries such as Animate CSS, Animista, or others to create dynamic and engaging visual elements
• Solid understanding of React and experience working with Typescript
• A user-centered approach to decision-making, with a focus on creating the best possible experience for end-users.

About Roboten

We are a startup founded in 2021 by a team including some of Sweden’s top tech entrepreneurs. We are developing Roboten, a low-code development tool that our customers can use to create their SaaS or business software.
