Hardware development is a challenging and crucial aspect of our projects. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Embedded System Engineer to join our team. Your role will be crucial in developing and optimizing embedded hardware and firmware for a range of devices interfacing with PC and mobile platforms. If you are an electrical engineer with substantial experience in embedded systems, we encourage you to apply.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- The development and deployment of embedded hardware and firmware, including wireless communication technologies.
- Design, develop, and optimize embedded systems using Altium for PCB design
- Firmware writing in C++.
- Prepare and manage production processes to ensure smooth transition from development to manufacturing.
- Execute code builds, conduct rigorous testing, and launch production-ready firmware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, implementing new features and enhancements in existing devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including external partners, product, design, and marketing to deliver innovative solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in embedded systems, wireless communication (Bluetooth and WiFi), and industry best practices.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in embedded system development.
- Proven expertise in using Altium for PCB design.
- Strong proficiency in firmware development using C++.
- Solid understanding of production preparation and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to write clean, well-documented code.
- Comfortable using Git for version control.
- Knowledge and experience with Bluetooth and WiFi communication technologies is highly desirable.
