ABOUT THE ROLE
If you want to join highly dedicated colleagues and push what is possible, there is a spot for you. QuickMail is going full-on native integration and API this year to develop their ecosystem. Therefore, they are looking for a back-end Developer to help with 3rd party integrations.
As their next Developer, you will help them expand their existing audience through 3rd party visibility and provide more value to their existing audience that needs the integration.
In this role, you will:
Build integration with other platforms, implement new features & fix bugs.
Write clear and clean code, keeping the integrity of code architecture (reusing systems already in place when developing new features)
Write performance code, keeping the system stable (speed and memory performance)
Write tests to make sure new code is properly covered and reduce the possibility to introduce bugs
Work & interact with the other developer (reviewing PR) and report directly to the founder (currently fulfilling CTO, has 20 years XP in development)
To excel in this role, you need to have:
3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
Solid knowledge of background jobs and performance (Sidekiq, ideally)
Experience developing professional Ruby on Rails applications, ideally another SaaS product
Ability to take ownership in solving the problem vs completing tasks
Team-oriented attitude and willingness to be exposed to the business side
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Owning a Macbook Pro with Visual Code
Brownie points for:
Experience with LinkedIn automation
Experience with Salesforce integration
Experience with website crawlers
Experience with designing APIs
