Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Work independently as a ServiceNow Developer and as a member of the project implementation/support/services team
- Analyze, evaluate, design and develop, customize ServiceNow based on customer requirements
- Identify gaps, creatively design and code workarounds, product extensions, customizations as required to meet customer needs
- Demonstrates the functionality to the requester
- Supports the existing development
- Reviews request for development and determines the technical design.
- Identifies the area(s) of the code that needs to be created and/or modified.
- Develops scripts / code to meet business requirements of the request.
- Adds/updates user level permissions in support of the requested functionality.
- Performs the initial testing to ensure that the code performs as requested.
- Demonstrates the functionality to the requester
- Makes updates based on feedback from the requester and demonstrates the updated functionality
- Supports the code once released to Production by investigating reported issue(s) and taking the issue(s) through to resolution.
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
- 2+ years of ITSM admin experience
- Plus, for you if you have experience with ServiceNow like an developer
- Passion for software development and problem solving
- Experience designing and implementing highly interactive user
- Experience with JavaScript or a similar OO language
- Expertise working with JavaScript libraries such as AngularJS, Bootstrap
- Knowledge of AJAX, JSON, HTML, XML, CSS, SOAP, REST and associated frameworks
- Good written and verbal communication
- English Intermediate or high
Plus for you but not necessary:
- ServiceNow System Administration certification and/or ServiceNow System Implementation certification
- ITIL vol 3 or 4 certification
- Experience with ServiceNow ITOM
