DevOps Engineer
Work from home (Serbia)
We are looking for a motivated and talented individual to be part of a dynamic and growing development and engineering team supporting a highly scalable, cross-platform, and secure multi-tenant CI/CD and DevOps environment utilizing Azure cloud technologies.
The DevOps Engineer Position will have the following responsibilities and skills:
- Create, document, and understand technical documentation and implement best practices in the DevSecOps space
- Understand and drive Systems Engineering best practices around software and hardware automation, provisioning, and security
- Work with developers, peers, testers, and business owners to implement DevOps technologies and solutions
- Understand and drive proper CI/CD processes and proper cloud infrastructure management best practices
- Define deployment processes and technologies and automate infrastructure provisioning and automation
- Drive best practices for cloud-based infrastructure deployments in Azure
- Understand the fundamental concepts that are part of server administration and operations such as HA, DR, and Automation
The ideal candidate should have experience with the following technologies:
- Experience with cloud platforms, but ideally with Azure
- Understanding of infrastructure provisioning automation and configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, or Ansible
- Experience and knowledge of SCM tools, specifically Git
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or BitBucket Pipelines or CI
- Knowledge of BASH and PowerShell Scripting languages as well as experience with Systems administration for LINUX and Windows systems
- Experience with infrastructure and DevOps as code best practices as well as a good foundation in systems security best practices
- Understanding and experience with build and dependency management tools like maven, ant, and npm
- Not required, but some experience with automating test tools like Jasmine, Mocha, as well as Selenium and/or JMeter
- Not required, but a plus would be to have experience with repository management tools like Artifactory or Nexus, as well as code quality tools like Sonar
