This is you

• Proven experience administering and supporting OpenShift clusters in production environments
• Strong understanding of containerization concepts and technologies (Docker, OCI, etc.)
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and troubleshooting
• Experience with Gitlab, Jenkins, ArgoCD
• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Powershell)
• Familiarity with on-prem infrastructure and their integration with OpenShift
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

This is your role

• Administer, maintain, and support multiple OpenShift clusters across different environments (development, testing, production) hosted on-premises
• Perform regular upgrades for the OpenShift version on clusters
• Monitor cluster health, performance, and capacity to ensure high availability and performance
• Implement and maintain security policies and best practices for containerized applications within the OpenShift env.
• Work closely with DevOps teams and Operations teams to troubleshoot issues related to applications, scaling, and performance
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to integrate OpenShift clusters with existing systems and services as well as during Infrastructure’s teams maintenance activities
• Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible)
• Perform incident management related to the OpenShift Clusters themselves or as support to different related teams
