Job Description
Our client, an award-winning software development organization for satellite communications is seeking a mid-level DevOps CI/CD engineer to establish and maintain Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery tooling and processes for development, integration, and delivery of capabilities for complex, real-time software systems and products for our space solutions business. Development is agile in a product portfolio environment of hosted infrastructure and Azure cloud.

Responsibilities:
- Build, test, and administer enterprise development, integration, and delivery environments
- Assist development team with onboarding new team members and resolving environmental issues
- Support integration, test, and delivery of product internally and through customer site installation
Requirements:
- 2-5+ years of experience in DevOps CI/CD, system administration, and network administration
- Experience in the following (desired) or similar (required) CI/CD tooling: JFrog Artifactory, GitLab, Subversion, Sonarqube, Jira, Fisheye, Jenkins.
- Familiarity with software application development in C/C++ and Java on Linux, Windows, and Web platforms in a hosted infrastructure and Azure environment
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management using Puppet, Ansible, or similar tooling.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or BASH
- Experience with test automation toolings such as Selenium, Cucumber, SOAPUI, and Google Test
- Experience in supporting agile software engineering practices
- Experience in supporting environments that maintain mission-critical or high availability real-time software
Education: Bachelors or greater in a STEM field or related technical education with demonstrated experience.
Candidates must have a proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment, strategize on complex problems, and think outside the box to find solutions. Strong communication and writing skills are an absolute must. Candidates must also be self-motivated and self-managing of their workload and deliverable deadlines.
