MAIN REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of experience in MSSQL database administration. 
• Knowledge of Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL or other database technologies will be considered as advantage. 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changes. 
• Fluent in English. 
• Good communication skills on all levels and across cultures and disciplines. 
• Willingness to travel mainly in Europe. 
• University degree in IT, Telecommunication, Engineering or similar.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

• Maintain several hundred of databases across the region
• Provide ongoing performance improvements through optimizations.
• Organize and perform database patching, upgrades and migrations.
• Participate in cross-team local and regional projects.
• Participate in defining future database architecture.
• Provide passive on-call support (usually one week per month out of working hours).
