Together with our partner, we are looking for a:

Data Scientist

to enhance the data science team. The ideal candidate will have a robust knowledge of data science and machine learning, with strong proficiency in Python. This role involves analyzing complex data sets to improve our services and user experience, developing predictive models, and driving strategic decision-making through actionable insights.

You would be a part of a product team consisting of 18 people, with 10 engineers working from Zürich and Belgrade, who take pride in a fast pace, execution excellence, and clean codebase.

Your responsibilities:

• Implement, optimize, and evaluate machine learning models, covering the complete lifecycle from conception to deployment
• Improve and maintain existing predictive models to address significant business challenges
• Provide strategic recommendations and insights derived from complex datasets to stakeholders, enhancing data-driven decision-making
• As a member of the data science team, you will be expected to learn and share knowledge continuously
• Collaborating with various departments to identify and exploit data-driven opportunities to enhance business solutions

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional data science experience, with strong skills in Python
• Deep understanding of data science fundamentals and machine learning methods
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to undertake complex projects
• Eager to work in a young team with a lot of freedom, flexibility, and responsibility
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, essential for a collaborative environment
• Knowledge of time series analysis and natural language processing is a plus
• Expertise in cloud computing infrastructure and services (AWS or similar) is a plus
