As part of our data team you will enable teams at Shpock to consume and build effective products based on trustworthy data.
- Use your expertise to implement our data strategy and big data management approach
- Ensure uninterrupted and timely data availability, while using the resources efficiently
- Ensure correctness of data in all stages of the data-processing/-preparation pipeline
- Responsible for the continuous optimization, development and scaling of data warehouse processes and applications
- Guarantee the integration of internal and external data sources into our data warehouse
- Define and implement data quality assurance methods
- With your technical skills and knowledge you support various teams in getting access to the data they need
- Generate information and insights from data sets and identifying trends and patterns
- Prepare reports for executive and project teams
- Create visualisations of data

- Work with Shpock leadership team - you will report directly to CTO and support our COO
- Work with product team - you will work intensively with our international product and data team
YOUR PROFILE
- 2+ years experience in a Data Engineer role or similar position
- Experience with SQL and management of relational databases
- Experience with Python, JavaScript and Apache Airflow
- Experience working with 3rd party APIs (Facebook, Google, AWS...)
- Strong strategic, analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Fluent in English
