About the project:
We are looking for and experienced team member in the domain of Big Data and Analytics . We need an expert to support the team in building optimized and well-planned data objects that fit to the purpose of various analytical use cases. Our sources are diverse (on-prem, cloud, structured, semi-structured, real time and batch) and our target infrastructure is Azure cloud. Data storage relies on delta lake framework and Medallion architecture using Databricks platform. Moreover, all data assets that we design, build and maintain we aim to describe, set data quality policies on top and make it transparent to business stakeholders through proper data catalogs. Therefore, whole data life-cycle process needs to be supported from this role.
About the team:
As the PT Business Digital Organization (PT/BDO) we lead, support and assist our PT business partners in developing, transforming or initiating digital offerings for our customers. This includes creating a consistent brand web image, but also focusing on online sales growth. The scope of our work encompasses the spread of media buy, organization & distribution of media assets, developing digital platforms and harmonizing our IT landscape. This also includes project and program management services for major IT investments. The target is to provide the right capabilities (technology, process, skill & organization) to enable our PT business units to be more efficient, faster and more successful in the digital transformation of their product & service offerings.
Job Description
Our team is happy to welcome you. Here is what you will be doing if you choose to join the team:
► You will collaborate closely with Business Units, Capability and Product Owners to get their Analytics vision true
► You will analyze and enable business requests for advanced data analytics and insights generation
► You will design data models for analytical systems - for corresponding data structures, analytics/reporting and AI applications.
► You will develop, maintain, and optimize data structures in a data lake platform using the Lake House Medallion architecture running on Databricks using the Delta Lake framework
► You will act as dedicated Data Catalog owner as a crucial solution for higher efficiency in data management and needs
► You will implement measures to ensure data quality and accessibility. E.g. definition of metrics for Data Quality which then have to be monitored
► You have to build an inventory of all data architecture procedures and artifacts
► You have to evaluate current data management technologies and what additional tools are needed.
► You have to determine upgrades and improvements to current data architectures.
► You have to develop and enforce data ( lake ) storage development standards.
► You will research new opportunities and create methods to acquire data.
► You will develop and implement data provisioning based on Bosch data strategy
► You will monitor, refine and report on the performance of data management systems (based on defined metrics or KPIs)
Qualifications
Who you are:
► You have relevant university degree (e.g. Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineer)
► You have 3+ years of experience on relevant position here with hands on experience in Data Integration projects
► You have relevant university degree (e.g. Computer Science, Business Informatics, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineer, Electrical Engineering)
► You are at expert level in SQL Warehousing and Analytical modeling
► You are at expert level of data mining skills using SparkSQL and PySpark on Databricks and Standard SQL on other database systems
► You are at expert level with relational databases and understand the Delta Lake framework. You know how to perform optimizations.
