Data Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a data analyst who works hands on with real data. You will analyze datasets, extract insights, and create reports that support real business decisions. The work is practical and client facing. Most of your time will be spent working with data, validating results, and turning numbers into clear conclusions.

This is not a research role. You will work with existing data sources and real reporting needs. The focus is on accuracy, clarity, and usefulness. You will work closely with business users, data engineers, and other stakeholders.

What You Will Do

• You will analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. You will create and maintain custom reports and dashboards based on specific business needs. You will work directly with business users to understand what they need to see and why.
• You will prepare ad hoc analyses to support day to day decision making. You will make sure data is accurate and consistent across all reports. You will work with data engineers to ensure data is collected and stored in a way that supports analysis.
• You will present findings in a clear and structured way through reports and presentations. Over time you will help improve reporting processes and tools.
• Most days are about working with data, validating results, and delivering insights that people actually use.

Core Responsibilities

• You will deliver reliable reports and dashboards used by business teams. You will make sure data is correct and easy to understand. You will translate complex datasets into clear insights. You will communicate findings clearly and on time.
• You will take ownership of reports from initial request through delivery and later updates.

Required Experience

• You have strong experience working as a data analyst. You are comfortable working with large datasets and complex analyses. You have strong SQL skills and experience querying databases.
• You have experience using data visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools. You have strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills. You pay attention to detail and care about data accuracy.
• You can communicate clearly with both technical and non technical stakeholders.

Background

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, statistics, mathematics, or a related field is expected. Equivalent professional experience is also valued.

Nice to Have

Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts is a plus. Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is helpful. Experience working in a similar industry or domain is also a plus.
