Why we need you:
- To work hands-on with a team on maintenance and monitoring of cloud and on-prem infrastructure for our hedge fund clients
- To manage incident management processes, including major incidents
- To manage complex change management as a senior high-level escalation point
- To work on improving the standards and processes, internally and for managing the clients
- To have an ability to manage a team as a line manager and balance workloads efficiently and effectively
- To liaise efficiently for onboarding and handover of new clients
- To be capable of advanced automation scripting
- To work with CRM on client escalations
- To work with CRM on service reviews (UK and US)
Requirements
- Subject matter expert in the field of Microsoft Azure and AWS, as well as O365
- 5+ years of technical and operations experience
- Can confidently speak to a broad number of technologies
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, O/S systems, Networking/Security UTM
- Skills and experience with automation and scripting which has resulted in a reduction of manual task overhead
- At least one of the certificates in cloud technology (AZ preferred)
- Mac/Linux knowledge or exposure
- ITIL Foundation
- Mentoring, advising and steering team of colleagues
- Managing client expectations in a continuously polite and friendly manner
Not a must, but a plus if you have:
- A computer or IT related degree
- Any DevOps experience (we use Ansible and Terraform)
