Why we need you:
- Provide first class client facing Cloud Support across both US and UK clients.
- Be the escalation point for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical support requests within SLAs, escalation internally or with third parties.
- Monitor trading systems and cloud infrastructure for our hedge fund clients.
- Strive to improve day-to-day operations to reduce support to zero.
- Operate client AWS and Azure environments as well as our own infrastructure.
- Have the mindset and technical skills to develop and implement automation tools and processes to remove manual overhead.
- Provide mentor-ship and training to L1 and L2 Engineers as needed
- Strong desire, passion and proven track record of technical advancement in public cloud technologies
- Participate as an escalation for weekend and public holiday support incidents
- Attend local client sites on an adhoc, as required, basis.
You have:
- Subject matter expert in field
- Can confidently speak to broad number of technologies
- At least one of L3 certs in cloud technology
- ITIL Foundation
- 7+ years of technical and operations experience
- Knowledge in what resources, knowledge, tools and techniques are required to successfully complete a project/resolve service requests and incidents
- Mentoring, advising and steering team of colleagues
- Managing client expectations in a continuously polite and friendly manner
