Reporting to our COO, you'll be playing an important part in the the development of the Company’s operation systems, business processes and analysis. Assisting in the implementation of procedures and processes in line with the regulations as well as mitigating the business risk exposure. You will work to build and strenghthen the Department’s operational analysis and reporting, conducting data reconciliation and monitoring the correct functioning of the business tools.
You will be required to:
- Reporting to the COO you will actively work within the daily operation of the business activity and processes to support the operation of the Company’s technical systems in accordance with the regulatory requirements and regulations.
- Analyse current operational processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Work directly with the different departments to understand the needs of the business and interpreting data about company policies and workflows.
- Perform gap analysis of new requirements against existing functionalities, evaluating risks and predicting potential problems and use a variety of data analysis and organization tools to evaluate key performance indicators and discover impactful insights.
- Write memos, reports, specifications and create flowcharts to support recommendations to be presented to the key stakeholders.
- Oversee and support the implementation of projects from beginning to completion, establishing deliverables, and participating in the review of detailed test cases with the QA team to ensure it meets the business requirements.
- Documenting high-level test cases to ensure that QA and IT has the necessary information to implement projects and liaise with both QA and IT to perform audits and recommend and monitor corrective actions were necessary.
- Any other tasks that management might assign.
The requirements for this role are:
- At least 2 year experience in a compliance/IT analyst related role.
- Previous experience in a gambling company is an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. A college degree is preferred.
Advanced Excel Skills including control of the functions sort, filter, SUMIF, Pivot Tables, Text Formulas, IF Formulas, Charts, and conditional formatting.
- Excellent Microsoft skills including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Good understanding of SQL (Structure Query Language).
- Excellent drafting, written and verbal communication skills with a native level proficiency required to produce high quality reports.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize efficiently in rapidly changing environment.
- Self-motivated with high performance standards, able to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Can-do attitude, result-oriented person and effective under pressure with the ability to anticipate needs and seeks to improve work processes and proactively resolve issues.
- Demonstrate sound judgement with a high level of diplomacy and confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build effective working relationships
