Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst who will play a key role in identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains across projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and industry best practices. By leveraging analytical tools and methodologies, you will help bridge gaps between technical solutions and business needs, offering insights that drive strategic decision-making.

Our ideal applicant will:

• Analyze complex end user needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs
• Determine specific software requirements to address complex business needs
• Review project scope, creating project/tasks in Azure DevOps, document progress and issues
• Review functional and technical design documents and perform high level assessment from control perspective and identify obvious red flags
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboard and performance metrics
• Support project management activities including scope definition, timeline, planning and risk assessment
• Provide user training on new solutions and user documentation

Skills needed:

• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage expectations
• Ability to create clear documentation such as business cases, user stories, and functional specs
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal at all levels; Strong English communication skills
• Experience in QA and Business Analysis
• Familiarity with business processes – Accounting knowledge as a significant plus
• Understanding of the specific industry (e.g. finance, healthcare, retail) to contextualize analysis.
• Experience working in different project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to interpret and present data insights.
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in business, accounting or related fields
