About the Position
Wonder Dynamics is on the lookout for a seasoned Developer to join their team. As a developer, you will be building a platform solution that will unify what the Machine Learning and Deep Learning teams have been building. Your mission would be to build a web-based cloud application, and you will have the freedom to set up everything from the scratch.
At the intersection of film and technology, this job will offer a very unique experience, and you will be exposed to a diverse set of fields spanning from film production and visual effects to AI, machine learning, and computer vision.
Because they are operating in the state-of-the-art territory, there will always be something new to learn on the horizon.
If you join Wonder Dynamics, you will be one of the first members of the software development team and will work closely with the ML teams. As an early member of the Development team, there is a chance to grow into a team lead and potentially tech lead position in the department.
Challenges you will encounter
- Setting up the architecture of the web application
- Working closely with a team of research engineers and artists
- Working with Machine Learning and Deep Learning pipelines
- Massive data
Responsibilities:
- Creating a back-end service for AI web-based platform that will connect the various ML services that Machine Learning and Deep Learning teams build.
- Setting up and developing back-end APIs that will grow into a cloud-based platform
- Making a basic front-end of the app for back-end use
- Setting up the basic DevOps infrastructure
- Project architecture management
- Team management when other software developers join
Requirements:
- Has BS/MS in Computer Science or similar
- Has experience in building and supporting scalable and secure web services
- Has knowledge about cloud application security best practices
- Has experience in building RESTful web services
- Experience setting up AWS / Docker for hosting ML services is a huge bonus
- Has strong knowledge and experience in one or more of backend languages - C# (.NET), JavaScript (Node.js), etc.
- Experience with Microservices
- Experience setting up Docker / AWS
