We are currently looking for a highly motivated Android Engineer to join the VeriFLY team in Serbia.
VeriFLY is the first widely accepted mobile health travel document verification app that offers travelers a secure and simple way to confirm their destination’s COVID-19 requirements. By streamlining the check-in and documentation verification process at home before departure, travelers have peace of mind knowing they can safely navigate their journey.
Your contribution:
You will work with our Belgrade, Dublin, and US Engineering teams as an Android Engineer who will be accountable for the development and delivery of multiple Android applications to support the VeriFLY platform and services.
You have:
- At least 3 years of Android engineering experience with a product focus (we welcome seniors as well)
- A proven record of releasing, updating, and maintaining Android apps in the Play Store.
- Experience with mobile application architecture (Clean architecture approach)
- Experience with CI/CD
- Experience with Firebase services: Crashlytics, App Distribution, and Cloud messaging
- Knowledge of and design patterns such as MVP and MVVM
- Experience in some of the following: Kotlin, RxJava2/RxKotlin, Dagger2, Databinding, Moshi, Retrofit, Mockk, JUnit5
- Experience with multi-tiered applications and REST web services
- The ability to rigorously test software to ensure it meets the expected requirements. This includes the ability to create automated test suites
- Good working knowledge of build and configuration management; SVN, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Bamboo, JIRA, or similar tools
- The ability to work at all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Very good verbal and written English

Selection process:
