Academy Trainer

OpenWay is seeking a passionate Academy Trainer to join our global team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs that empower clients and internal teams to effectively use our fintech solutions. The Academy Trainer will work in a multicultural environment, facilitating engaging training sessions, presentations, and supporting the creation of high-quality learning materials.

Responsibilities:

• Support new employees during onboarding by providing guidance and assistance to ensure a smooth and effective experience, and conduct training sessions for clients through workshops, seminars, or online sessions.
• Maintain and update existing training materials to keep them accurate and relevant, and develop new resources such as manuals, guides, and presentations.
• Create specialized training programs focused on specific system modules for internal teams, and develop testing materials to evaluate participants’ understanding.
• Gather feedback from trainees to improve and refine the training process.
• Be open to occasional travel for onsite training sessions or relevant events.

Skills: 

• Experience working with various operating systems (Windows Server, Linux: RHEL, CentOS, Oracle Linux)
• Understanding of DBMS theory and practice (development and/or administration)
• Basic proficiency in PL/SQL (reading and writing code)
• Familiarity with Atlassian JIRA or other project tracking tools
• Public speaking and training delivery skills, plus experience creating PowerPoint presentations
• Cross-cultural communication, academic writing, content writing, translation, and classroom management- Proficiency with video and remote meeting software (Zoom, Google Meet, GoToMeeting, Microsoft Teams)
• Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS)
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate technical ideas clearly, effectively, and persuasively
• Ability to work in teams with people of varying skills and backgrounds
• Capacity to learn new technologies quickly and accurately
