The Role
We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our innovative team and help drive the development of our AI-powered features and tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, natural language processing, and software engineering, with a focus on building practical AI solutions for real-world applications.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and implement AI and machine learning models to enhance our platform's capabilities
- Build and maintain AI-driven tools for generating insights, personalized recommendations, and content for our users
- Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and efficiency
- Implement and maintain RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems to improve the quality and relevance of AI generated content
- Implement and maintain database schemas, queries, and optimizations for PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch
- Contribute to the development of our backend services using Python and FastAPI
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall architecture and design of our backend systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into our existing SaaS platform
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, particularly in the mental health and wellness domain
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering and/or AI engineering roles
- Strong proficiency in Python programming
- Extensive experience with PyTorch or other machine learning frameworks
- Proven track record of building and deploying AI-powered applications in production environments
- Experience with FastAPI for developing RESTful APIs
- Solid understanding of natural language processing (NLP) techniques and large language models (LLMs)
- Practical experience with vector databases and RAG systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Nice to Have
- Full-stack JavaScript experience, particularly with Next.js and Nest.js
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services
- Experience in the mental health or wellness technology sector
- Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices, especially in handling sensitive health information
