When it comes to fostering a positive work environment, it's not just about deadlines, meetings, and events. Sometimes, it's about stepping outside the usual box, getting active, and coming together over a shared passion.
For the second year running, our amazing colleagues from Belgrade office took part in the Basketball IT League, and it was a slam dunk success! The league offered more than just friendly competition – it was also an opportunity to meet tech professionals from other companies. Our team shared experiences, practices and, of course, many laughs with their colleagues from a different companies.
One of our team members, Nikola Nedeljkovic, shared his perspective, saying, "Connecting together outside the workspace was a breath of fresh air. We found common ground and bonded over our shared love for the game. It was a fantastic experience. What's even more exciting is how these connections have translated into our projects at the office. We've realized that teamwork, strategy, and collaboration on the basketball court mirror our approach to projects. It's not just about winning games - it's about working together efficiently and achieving our goals."
Adding to the excitement during their summer league, our colleagues received the “Fair Play” team award, which recognized their sportsmanship, teamwork, and integrity both on and off the court.
But that's not all – our participation also led to a fantastic discovery! We met some incredible talent who was a perfect fit for our internship program. Recognizing talent, passion, and fit with our company culture, we brought him onboard!
As we continue to dribble, pass, and score our way through the Basketball IT League, we're excited to see where this incredible journey leads us, showcasing the power of shared passions and teamwork!
