Our story begins in 2015 when our CEO, Ivan Petrovic, got the idea to create software which focuses on productivity, time analysis and business process optimization with the goal of boosting efficiency and focus. We are Insightful - a growing team of nearly 80 people, devoted to developing our own software which focuses on productivity, time analysis, and business process optimization to boost employee efficiency and focus.
You might know us as Workpuls, but as of April 2022, we have started a new chapter in development of our software and we got a new name to mark the transition - Insightful.

Our story starts with our CEO bringing this idea to the table with a couple of his friends. From that point on, both the team and our software went through lots of different development phases while constantly adapting to keep moving forward and grow the number of our clients. This means that we now have more than 1300 clients worldwide and a strong team behind it, covering various parts of development, marketing and sales.

Praktični task je super, realno oslikava potrebe pozicije i može da se završi za 2-3 sata u toku realnog roka (tipa nedelju dana). Svi zaposleni su vrlo ljubazni, responsivni i super. Nažalost...

U pitanju je bila juniorska pozicija. Prvo sam imao HR razgovor koji je obavljen sa specijalistom za pronalaženje talenata (Talent Acquisition Specialist). Ovde je predstavljeno malo više o kompaniji, samoj poziciji i svemu ostalom sto me je interesovalo. Nakon toga smo popričali detaljnije o mom dosadašnjem iskustvu i onome čime se bavim. Ostavljeno mi je dosta prostora za priču i razgovor je išao spontanim putem. Jedan deo razgovora obavljen je i na engleskom. Sledeći i poslednji krug razgovora je trebao da bude tehnički intervju. Rečeno mi je da ću odgovor dobiti do kraja nedelje, a on je stigao i brže od predviđenog roka (već prekosutra). Dobio sam odgovor da sam pozvan na tehnički razgovor koji je sutradan zakazan sa DevOps Engineer-om. U uvodnom delu smo prošli tehnicke detalje vezane za samu poziciju (radne odgovornosti, u kojim tehnologijama se radi, ko su klijenti itd.). Drugi deo razgovora je bio posvećen proveri znanja kroz test (sa praktičnia i tehnička pitanja). Tehnički test se sastojao od više grupa pitanja za nekoliko različitih oblasti (Linux komande, Windows, umrežavanje. Docker, Kubernets, bonus pitanja). Sva ova pitanja nisu nešto previše komplikovana, a pogotovo za one koji su već imali dodira sa tim oblastima u DevOps-u. Tokom testiranja, od mene je traženo da share-ujem ekran dok sam popunjavao odgovore preko Google Docs stranice. Čitav razgovor je protekao u prilično opuštenoj atmosferi i dopalo mi se što me je sagovornik navodio na odgovore za pitanja koja nisam znao. Imali smo dovoljno vremena i da prođemo kroz sva pitanja/odgovore na kraju samog razgovora. Sudeći po reakciji oba sagovornika, izgledalo mi je da je test prošao uspešno što su i sami potvrdili kada sam ih pitao. Svakako, rečeno mi je da ću povratnu informaciju dobiti kroz nedelju dana kada i ostali kandidati prođu isti test znanja. Bilo bi lepo videti kada bi svi poslodavci praktikovali ovaj vid tehničkog testiranja jer već tokom poziva možete imati predstavu koliko ste čega znali. Moram istaknuti da je komunikacija tokom većeg dela procesa bila jasna i na visokom nivou. Sve relevantne informacije sam dobijao na vreme (npr. kako će izgledati tehnički razgovor, kao i da će trajati više od planiranog vremena). S druge strane, falila je malo veća transparentnost na kraju samog procesa selekcije. Na kraju im je trebalo im čak dve nedelje da donesu konačnu odluku s obzirom da su prevideli praznik koji je bio u međuvremenu (11. novembra). Na kraju su odlučili da ne nastave sa daljim tokom selekcije jer su u pitanju bile nijanse između mene i drugog kandidata. Dotični je imao malo veće poznavanje tehnologija koje važne, pre svega Docker-a i malo više iskustva u radu na DevOps taskovima iako je sve ovo nešto što se realno može naučiti kroz rad kako su i oni sami rekli. Ovaj pristup je poprilično pokvario moj celokupan utisak o firmi do tog trenutka i posebno mi se nije dopao razlog za odbijanje jer mi je rečeno da će svako dobiti detaljniji feedback za svoje učešće u procesu selekcije. Isto tako, prilično sam siguran da sam znao bar 90% odgovora na testu što se moglo videti i po pozitivnoj reakciji sagovornika kada sam ih pitao o tome kako su zadovoljni sa mojim izdanjem. Kapiram da su sve vreme blefirali.

Zadatak je bio jako kreativan i slobodouman i nije bilo nekih većih ograničenja sem nekih prethodno definisanih smernica u samom brifu. Posle dostavljanja završenog zadatka sam čekao na odgovor nekih nedelju dana, gde mi je rečeno...
Dobio sam zadatak iz moje struke, sa rokom izrade od 5 dana i jasno definisanim uputstvom. Zadatak je bio jako kreativan i slobodouman i nije bilo nekih većih ograničenja sem nekih prethodno definisanih smernica u samom brifu. Posle dostavljanja završenog zadatka sam čekao na odgovor nekih nedelju dana, gde mi je rečeno da je zadatak uspešan i tada su mi bila zakazana dva intervjua (HR i Tehnički). Oba intervjua su bila jako prijatna i bukvalno mi je proletelo vreme od sat vremena, koliko su intervjui i trajali. Navedeni intervjui su totalno različitog karaktera i cilja, gde je tehnički intervju malo zahtevniji, jer trebate proći kroz nekoliko tehničkih pitanja vezana za vaš prethodno urađeni zadatak. Nedelju dana nakon uspešnih intervjua sam dobio ponudu za posao koju sam i prihvatio.

Posle apliciranja, dobio sam listu od 5 taskova koji su bili povezani sa istom web aplikacijom za testiranje. Posle toga je na red dosao intervju, kombinacija tehnickog i HR dela i jos jedan task za pisanje automatskih tesova posle koga sam dobio ponudu. Prijatno i korisno iskustvo :)
